Moonstone Masquerade

Stage Production Individual and Group Photos shall be taken on Monday 3 December during the school morning. Please ensure your child’s hair is neatly arranged for this day (as requested for the dress rehearsals) and that all performers are at school early on this day.

For the photos, dress rehearsals as well as performances, boy’s hair is to be neat and out of the face, girl’s hair is to be worn in a ballet bun and tightly secured with no fringes or hair in the face.

Make-Up: Parents are also asked to ensure that their child arrives with foundation (in their own skin-tone) already applied for the dress rehearsals and performances. This applies to boys and girls alike. It is suggested that a pure aqueous cream be applied to the skin before applying foundation to prevent irritation.

Parents are notified that the Atterbury Theatre does not allow patrons to use any form of recording electronics during the productions. Parents may not take their own photos or DVDs during the production, which is why we have professional photographers doing the Stage Photos and DVD.

Thank you to those parents who have already made payments and met the deadlines for stage production photographs and DVD’s. We appreciate the sacrifices you may be making to cover all these extra costs.

Full day stage rehearsals at the Atterbury Theatre take place on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th December. Transport is provided, for the children, to and from the theatre on these days. Parents are not allowed to watch these rehearsals.

Parents are reminded that children will perform on both evenings and must be available for both performances on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th December. These performances start at 18:30 and will end around 21:30. Children are expected to be dropped off at the theatre by 17:00 and collected once the performance has ended and children have been changed.

Parents are asked that children rest and sleep on the afternoons of Friday 7 and Saturday 8 December and that a wholesome meal is eaten at home before arriving at the theatre for the shows.

Children who are not participating in the stage production, will not have school on Wednesday 5th, Thursday 6th and Friday 7th December 2018.

There is no school for stage production participants on Friday 7th December.

For the safety and security of the children as well as access control, we request that, unless scheduled meetings have been made or a parent urgently needs to see a teacher or Thelma, parents leave children at the gate to enter the school and wait for children at the gate to collect their child. Parents are asked to please respect this decision for the safety of their children.
