Act One

An island of the Caribbean sets the scene.

A violent storm takes place. It’s dark. A shipwreck has occurred. The island is strewn with treasure, a treasure chest and three castaways.

Tribal Warriors bearing Flames of Fire appear. Tribal Girls perform a ritual tribal dance around the castaways and mark each with a special symbol. Pirates take advantage and approach from all directions. They make off with the treasure chest and some treasure.

Daybreak brings with it the dawning of a magnificent beach and island scene with the Caribbean Girls performing a traditional basket dance as well as the ceremonious arrival of a cruise ship and its sailors. The Caribbean girls welcome the arrival of island visitors. A beach scene follows with sun, sand, sea and a song or two! Everyone enjoys their Caribbean Cocktails while being entertained by Lola and the Island Dancers.

Suddenly, pirates attack and snatch a string of pearls from Lola’s neck. At that, a raging storm ensues causing chaos. All run for shelter except a distraught Lola and her two friends. The Tribal Girls insist that the three must follow Zeus’ command and return to the ocean from whence they came. The pearls are gone and must be replaced if the island is to be saved.

Act Two

Zeus, King of the gods, sends the three to the depths of the sea where they are enticed by the sea maidens who transform them as sea nymphs, spirits of the sea!

There they begin a magical journey where they meet all the majestic creatures of the ocean and below.

Poseidon, god of the sea, awaits their arrival too! He instructs them to visit the Arch of Aphrodite, where they view her treasures, beautiful pearls of pink, white, purple, black and blue. There they receive inspiration, intelligence, insight, intuition and integrity (the five pearls of wisdom) to behold muse form and become muses who inspire all that which belongs to the arts.

Tragedy strikes as Hades, god of the underworld and his dark spirits arrive.

Act Three

Zeus is overjoyed by the return of the pearl necklace ripped from Lola’s neck. In celebration, a lavish banquet feast and musical tribute to the arts follows.

Each muse, together with her pearl of wisdom, showcases that which she has inspired. The Island has been granted beauty, harmony and the arts once more!
