The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra at The Brooklyn Theatre
What a wonderful experience this was! Thank you to the parents who made it possible for their children to experience this interesting event, which was attended by 47 of the Courtney House children. Thank you to Elliot and Thomas for providing the transport to and from the theatre as well as to the following teachers who accompanied the children: Anthea; Chanél; Danielle; Demi; Deirdré; Marlize and Natasha. The children were exposed to a lot of valuable learning about the orchestra and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The Sound of Music
One of our own Grade 4 students, Rebecca Wallick, shall be performing a lead role in the popular musical ‘The Sound of Music’ at Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre. We have organised a block booking of limited seats for Friday 20th April. There has already been a great response and we are looking forward to this wonderful event. We are so proud of little Rebecca and congratulate her parents and brother, Austin, on her successful achievements.
