Ingwe Leadership and Adventure Camp Success

Thank you to Teachers Demi, Natasha, Danielle, Marie-Chen as well as Elliot and David for accompanying the children on camp and all their hard work in taking such good care of each child throughout the duration of camp.

A special word of thanks is extended to Debbie and Kathy and their entire team from Ingwe Forest Adventures for a sensational and educational camp. The children thoroughly enjoyed every moment but also learnt a lot too.

Thank you to all the parents who were on time with the dropping off and collection of children, even at odd hours of the day, and for making the camp possible which will remain a memorable experience for your child. Your support is appreciated.

We received many compliments and acknowledgements from not only the Ingwe team but also from many strangers at public places, about the great conduct and superb manners of the children, which made us all very proud of the Courtney House campers. Well done to the children.

The children will receive their Ingwe Certificates as well as their journals during the week. Anyone who would like to view the camp photos can search ‘Courtney House Camp 2019’ on Facebook.

Thank you

Thank you to Teacher Anthea for maintaining the smooth running of the school during Teacher Demi’s absence. Thank you, too, to Teachers Marlize, Chloe and Allison for taking care of the non-campers and for presenting exciting activities for them to participate in.

Student of the Week

Each week, a child from each class is identified as ‘Student of the Week’ for showing excellence or great progress in various areas. The children are awarded badges at line-up.

Congratulations to the children who received badges last week for “Best Cutting Skills”. This week, the award, only for the non-campers, is for “Most Knowledgeable Student”. There is a display near the school office where the children who receive badges are acknowledged.

Cycle Tests

Grade 3 to 6 students shall write cycle tests between Tuesday 19 March and Thursday 28 March. Test schedules shall be handed out during the week of 25 February.

On the same day, children will have an educational experience about Human Rights and more specifically, Children’s Rights and Responsibilities.
