World Storytelling Day and Human Right’s Experience
The children thoroughly enjoyed all the activities planned for this special day. Well done to all the children who really went to a huge amount of effort in dressing up as their favourite storybook character, the costumes were amazing.
Each class prepared a re-enactment of a famous story or fairy tale. The senior children presented little plays on the different children’s rights and their associated responsibilities.
Congratulations to Leago Mogorosi (Grade 3) for winning the Junior Best Dressed Category and to Austin Wallick (Grade 6) for winning the Senior Best Dressed Category. The children received book vouchers from Exclusive Books.
Grade 4 to 6 children had an opportunity to march to the College Campus displaying their Children’s Rights Posters and participate in their own “protest march”.
Thank you to all the teachers for the extra effort they awarded the preparation of everything. It was a successful learning experience filled with lots of fun and laughs.
