Courtney House is a lively hub of learning in which the main focus is the execution and mastery of reading, writing, and analytical-thinking skills so as to ensure effective transition from primary to high school.

Courtney College is characterised by a sophisticated and modern approach to effectively engaging students in the enhancement of subject-specific skills so as to accomplish all that is needed for tertiary study and the start of a future career.

Our History

How it all Began……

Originally under the name of Fives and Sixes, Courtney House Learning Centre was started as an education centre catering for a small group of five and six year olds. Offering exceptional education within an engaging environment, the demand for a primary school with a similar ethos, initiated the establishment of Courtney House, as it is now known. The superb success of the primary school for both local- and international- families, ignited its growth and led to the eventual establishment of a high school, Courtney College.

With a strong, internationally recognised academic focus, it remains the school of choice for International Embassies and Foreign Aid Organisations. For within our diverse “melting pot” of children from all over the world and at the heart of our teaching, lies the determination to provide a framework for the highest possible achievement of your child, as well as developing emotional intelligence and instilling life-long values.

From pre-primary right through to A/AS Level, this independent English medium school exposes your child to a curriculum that is locally relevant and accredited by the University of Cambridge; one of the premier universities in the world.

Our Logo

Significance of our Logo

The white oak leaf with acorn nut, as the official school logo, is symbolic of the growth from tiny innocence to majestic grandeur. It represents the ethos at all the Courtney Schools which emphasises the journey of growth and development with education at its core.

The smallest acorn nut is able to produce the largest and strongest of trees…….wise and knowledgeable, mighty and courageous.
